Borneo Cultural Festival -BCF 2008 @ SIBU

Borneo Cultural Festival is held annually in Sibu, between the month of June until July...


So me.......



and two of my best buddy decided to go check it up and have some fun thre.......

We came to the gateway which leads us to the ethnic clan food stalls and chinese stage..........

Any related Chinese shows (traditional opera & etc...) or games will be held on this specially made for Chinese ethnic Stage!!

There's one of ethnic stalls setup by the chinese clan......

And i saw my fren promoting her food at one of the stalls thre........

I strongly recommend her handmade "sio be"(meat dumpling) which cost 80 cents/pc!! Delicious!! Can fight with Kuching open-air market "sio be".........

There's another delicacy from Hainan clan stall which i strongly recommend also!!

"Lo Mai Kai" with meat floss at the top!!

While eating, you can enjoy the martial art show going on.........

Spain crowned champions....

SPAIN finally ended their 44-year wait for a major international title with a 1-0 victory over Germany at the Euro 2008 final.

Fernando Torres scored the only goal of the game in the first half as football's perennial underachievers finally banished that unwanted tag to the history books.

Even one goal is enough to help Spain lift the European title...


As for German,

German coach Joachim Loew professed his admiration for his side, who defied expectations to reach the final.

"I have to compliment the team for what they have achieved over the past few weeks," said the 48-year-old.

"It has been fantastic. The players are obviously disappointed, but they have every reason to hold their heads up high."

But we will praying the German will bounce back in 2012 cup.

Lastly, Sayo-nara to Euro 2008...... Its indeed a very entertaining & enjoyable tournament!!

RED bomb!!

One early morning, I received a "mysterious" & unknown call from one of my high school mate...

Her name is Miss Velvet Ting..... She was so excited when heard my voice and told me she was getting marry and ask me to attend her wedding. She told me to get the invitation card from Peter (cafe cafe) and i got to share THIS wedding card with my another fren(Adrian). Reason is:- she got no enough card for each of her invited frens...... But the problem is WHO gonna keep this card??

After talking for about 5 minutes, some curiousity questions POP out into my mind!! This "blur" going-to-be bride didn't mention WHEN & WHERE is her wedding??

Cos all this while, she has been living in AUSTRALIA and suddenly called and ask me to join her wedding dinner!! Ehh.... Do you wan me to fly all the way to AUS just to attend your wedding??

Then i said: "Excuse me, gal!!! when is your wedding?
(at heart got some preparation wanna fly to AUS to attend her wedding).

She replied, 1st of July...... OMG!! so rush..... Ah moi, its end of June oledi!!

Then i said OK!! She said "See you then", she hanged up........

Du du....... I was "stunned".....

I quickly call another fren of mine who i think will be invited too. He told me the wedding is held at Sibu.... you can feel that there's a sigh of relief out of me at that time!!

VIENNA: Spain will head into today’s Euro 2008 final against Germany.

So for those who are die-hard fans of football, remember to set ur alarm clock to 2.30am (30/6) in order to get ur ass up to watch the once in every four years big football tournament like this.

Before that, let's BET who will lift the European Cup Champion this year?

This is the most chit chat questions i heard when i was having my brunch jus now at coffee shop!!

Even some person who didnt know wat is football about (only know who is Ronaldo), will bet which team to win tonite!! trying their luck to earn some "extra".... Mayb who knows got "luck" ler......... A "short cut" way to earn fast money!!

Below u can hear wat's the example or common conversation on betting system here!! Some of you mayb will "blur" or confuse wat's they are saying.... but i will explain it later!!

Mr. X : Hello, ah long ah? tonite football wat "plate"?

Mr.Y aka bookie: Tonite Spain give half ball!! win 95...

Mr.X: Oh... like tat ka!!

After thinking for 2 minutes......

Mr.X : Ah long, i take Spain. 1 ringgit!!

Here's the coding defined:-

plate = betting odd (in betting code)

give half ball = Spain got to win at least 1-0!!

win 95 = u win 95% of the total amount u betting.....

1 ringgit= RM1 = RM1000 (in bookie betting code)

From my past experience, a lot of ppl have LOST tonnes of money. Just because they knew who is Ballack or Ronaldo is, & knowing this ppl got quality so make the assume that their team will win.... but who knows at the end..... the results is not wat they expected or wanted, so their RM?????? bye bye lor..........

The worst part is when they lost, they dun have the CASH to pay back the bookie....

So some of them will try to borrow money from their relatives. Those who lost more than few hundred thousand, mayb will consider "cabut" (run away)...... If not, ur fren ah long will come after you and give you a "hard & rough" massage!!

Anyway, BETTING with money is not "encourage" by ME...

For me, since it's a once in every 4 years tournament, a little BET will do la... but without $$$ ok!! You can bet with ur frens on 1 can of "Coke" or 5 plate of fried mee (for bigger bet :s)

This is how it played!! Last 2006 World Cup, i know my gf who she "think" Portugal will win cos got Mr C.Ronaldo in there.. So i lured her into betting with me on 1 can of Coke and i took the Opposition team(i forget which one already) vs her "Ronaldo" Portugal team.... Guess wat, I won.....

She's not happy and accused me of "cheated" her...... Until now, i havent get that COLA from her!!! hai....... Gals..........

For Conclusion:- Just create some FUN out of this big event like this!!

Football time........ And its Euro 2008 Semifinal!!

This morning saw Superb SPAIN stormed into their first final in 24 years by rolling over in-form Russia 3 -0 in Vienna!!

Here are the highlights.......



A Spanish fan locking "horn" with a Russian (formerly known as CCCP) fan??

Luckily the Russian players dun hv the same "thinking" as the Spaniards. If not, we will hv a endless game to watch.........

The Russian football team brought lots of supporters....... But they still cant stop this man!!

Excuse me, Too early for celebration la..... You still got a final game against Germany to play......

As for Germany...... do you know why the Turkish team lost!!

Bcos Germany sent this gal running out of the field at the final 90 minutes when they both draw at 2-2......

So when the Turkish footballers saw this, they were "puzzled" and "stood" thre..... Then the Germans took this opportunity to score!!

Yeah!! Germany win 3-2......

But Applause to the Turkish football team!! They really played good attacking football & have the never say die attitude.....

Mayb we can be like the Turkish football players!! Never give up even the opponents "score" first....

Even if you lost.... you lose with PRIDE!!!

And win a KISS..............

Argh..... is 6.40pm & im stil stuck in my office, doing some research and planning on the new price increase on my company products!! Effective 1st July, all of my customers will experience NEW pricing on the products they are purchasing....
Hope they wont "screw" on us!! Hehe....
